Hello,
I hope @Thumper can help me
I am in need of a bit assistance in which DayTime Matrix modules to choose
- The aquarium has (very) nutrition (masterline) dosed via dosing pump, both macro and micros are kept on correct levels - nitrogen is on the high but i am trying to limit this to 5-10ppm;
- Weekly maintenance of 50% with RO water and mineral salts.
- It also has high CO2 levels (30ppm)
- Tropica Soil.
- KH is around 3.
- Livestock in my tank is currently Neocaridina Davidi Bloody Mary
- In the future i will have most probably rainbow fish (either the Melanotaenia Boesemani, Melanotaenia Preacox or Melanotaenia lacustris)
I have some Bucephalandra and otherwise Rotala "Blood Red Singapore" and some micranthenum which i want to form a carpet of.
I would like to have advice for 3 modules Daytime Matrix led (the tank is only 35cm front to back) and has no cover.
I see there are 4 choices:
- https://en.daytime.de/product/led-pro-module-sunlike-fresh/
- https://en.daytime.de/product/led-pro-module-sunlike-color/
- https://en.daytime.de/product/led-pro-module-sunlike-ultra/
Leds will be controlled by TC421SJ (newer version of the TC420, but with USB-C)
What would be the reason to choose for which modules?
I don't care about moonlight (blue) or rising sun light (red); to be honest if i take for example the sunlike fresh and remove the red and blue leds i only have 12 leds available of white; instead of 24 if i take the sunlike neutral for example.
I am thinking of buying 2x neutral + 1x ultra.. Would that be a good choice for getting the right plant and fish colours?
I hope @Thumper can help me
