Hi Vasteq,
finally a Hymenophyllaceae fern that grows and propagates permanently in the tank? Also from Your experience? That would be very cool!!
The Wayanad District is in the Indian state Kerala, belongs to the area of the Western Ghats: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wayanad_district
Crepidomanes latemarginale is not in this list of Western Ghats Pteridophytes:

A similarly sounding name is Trichomanes (or Crepidomanes) intramarginale, this species occurs in the Western Ghats indeed:

Looks very similar to the aquarium fern, but there are further similar Trichomanes/Crepidomanes species.

thaks friedrich bitter i've have since august 2011 totally submers a very very similar crepidomanes (think is the same)
i've it in 3 differents aquarium (respective 10x5 cm, 5x5 and 3x3 cm portions size).
light: 0,25 w/l - 0,5 w/l
water: ph 6.2-6.9, gh 5-6, kh0-1, 200-300 ms
fertilisation: none
co2: none

der Farn von Friedrich Bitter und auch der von Vasteq vorgestellte sind möglicherweise der gleiche wie dieser hier auf den Bildern von Claus Christensen (Reise nach Kerala, Süd-Indien, Februar 2012):

Der Farn wird dort Crepiomanes malabaricum cf. genannt (korrekte Reihenfolge wäre Crepidomanes cf. malabaricum). Mit dem "cf." wird ausgedrückt, dass noch nicht sicher ist, ob es sich um die Art C. malabaricum handelt.
Crepidomanes malabaricum wurde 1999 wissenschaftlich beschrieben und soll eng verwandt sein mit den schon länger bekannten Arten C. intramarginale und C. christii:

Bilder von C. intramarginale zeigen was sehr Ähnliches: http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crepidomanes_intramarginale Man kann also vielleicht andere Arten nicht ausschließen.
Ich habe das Paper mit der Originalbeschreibung von C. malabaricum nicht und kann darum nicht angeben, wie die Art von anderen ähnlichen Crepidomanes-Arten unterschieden wird.
Hoffentlich wird einmal Genaueres über die Aufsammlungen und vielleicht auch sichere Bestimmung von diesem spannenden Minifarn aus Südindien veröffentlicht.
